Monica KelloggThe “path, a way of life, leading to the Kingdom” points us to live a sanctified life here and now (in the world), while the Kingdom is being constructed (also here – in Jerusalem to be exact), we just can’t see it yet! As the program reading material notes, it is “half hidden, half revealed.” We are empowered by the Spirit to reveal it more and more by walking the path, the Way!
Being an immigrant, I can identify with feeling like an exile: attempting to assimilate, finding common ground, “seeking shalom in my community,” but having a sensation that I don’t fully belong 😊
