Reply To: After completing this course, do you agree with the statement, “Hebraic Thought is the greatest intellectual tradition in the history of humanity.” Why or why not?
I agree that Hebraic thought can be very powerful. It has the power to guide us toward a world that is more just and that avoids certain biases that have become quite commonplace when other lenses are applied. I think it would be great if we could explain Hebraic thought to people outside the Judeo-Christian tradition in a manner that doesn’t seem threatening to them rather draws on the strengths of this approach and its potential to bring about good in the world.
