I think we also have to ask ourselves why and how so many Christians leaders embraced antisemitism over the years. We must self-reflexively examine and question some of our own understanding of the world and whether there are areas of hypocrisy and dissonance in our lives. We have to be intellectually and spiritually honest with ourselves even if it’s difficult. We must put ourselves into the mindsets not only of the people we want to emulate but into those from whom we wish to distance ourselves.
