First, because it’s the right thing to do. Religious freedom is a human right and even if you are a Jew or a Christian, you believe that God allows people to harbor beliefs, some true some false, and that people can only come to a new faith through their conscience. So conversion by the sword or religious uniformity dictated by the civil government is morally wrong. Second, supporting religious freedom for other religions, including Muslims, will protect the religious freedom of Christians and Jews worldwide. Finally, supporting religious freedom for Muslims in particular will encourage goodwill and support friendly and positive interactions between Christians, and Muslims.
