The Alpha course is a great way to create a less intimidating environment for those curious about Jesus and Christianity. I believe many are reluctant to step into a Sunday service as they are afraid that they will stand out or not know what to do. A small group first approach provides the opportunity to connect with others and build more intimate relationships prior to joining the worship service. The Alpha course will be a great avenue for people to learn the truth about Jesus and connect with the local church.
