A Hebraic leader is one who cultivates the skill of finding their way through confusing terrain and getting others across that terrain to their destination. Hebraic leaders go ahead of others and brave danger and confusion for their shared mission/destination as they seek the Kingdom of God. They follow the Hebraic map and worldview with integrity, audacity, and humility in order to guide others through conflict and crisis. A Hebraic leader draws their courage from God and sees themselves as navigating through history on the path of faith. They make decisions with a clear understanding of their destination as they are immersed in the word of God and pray to see the world as God sees it.
I was struck by the imagery of leaders as navigators and guides. They help others through confusing and chaotic ground as they are led by the light of faith and history to the destination of the Kingdom of God.
