I feel like I have done the same thing as you regarding foreign policy and my beliefs. My viewpoint did limit my views on foreign policy, which had both positive and negative aspects. It is interesting to see how your views changed between Catholicism and Protestantism. I always thought of non-denominational and Catholic views on Israel and typically similar to each other, so I appreciate your firsthand perspective on how this is not always the case.
