Hi Patrick, very interesting response! I am a Catholic convert from Judaism, and I agree, there is passivity in the Catholic Church’s approach to foreign policy on their views on the Middle East. Sometimes peace is not sufficient if it is not a true peace, and most times, it must be fought for. I hope that the new papacy takes a harder stance on the conflict in recognition of the promise made by God to Abraham and his descendants.
