I think those who draw those false comparisons forget that war and killing are not inherently evil, but that distinctions must be drawn between just war and killing in self-defence. Two family friends of mine are currently in tunnels in Gaza. As unfortunate as it is that children are dying, I (and the state of Israel) have a duty to protect our citizens.
