Amongst our readings, the one passage that resonated most with myself beginning this journey, in regards to the introductory theme of Hebraic leadership, was 2 Timothy 4. Although not surprised, but instead left in awe of how clear and concise God’s message and answers to our sometimes ominous questions can be, this passage felt as if it were a suitable affirmation of the Hebraic map. Even more specifically, 2 Timothy 4:2 emboldens us to be the salt to preserve the truth while also providing the means for adaptability in order to be the light. As Leaders, in times of internal or external conflict, this scripture may relieve us of our anxieties in order to be able to carry on with our teachings, to go fourth with conviction to rebuke, humility to correct, and benevolence to encourage all with an abundance of great patience as it is key to truly understanding.
