Reply To: Why is it important for Christians to keep the sad history of Christian antisemitism in mind when responding to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the present?

Beautifully said, Ananya. This encourages me to ask my Jewish friends how they perceive me personally as a Christian. We are not living in the age of Martin Luther’s angry diatribe, but there is still anti-semitism in many “Christian” communities. I also am aware of rising anti-Muslim sentiments. Social media burns as many bridges as it builds. We are all so interconnected now and voices of religious superiority, as you put it, are rampant.
