Hebraic leadership balances between the spiritual and physical realities of the promises of God, both in the Old and New Testaments. It is aware of the spiritual realities that we live in and work towards and our final destination of Heaven, but recognizes that in the meanwhile, Christ means to work in the physical world through us. It stresses that though our final destination is Heaven, by studying eschatology, we can appreciate the physical nature of the Kingdom of God to be established in Jerusalem. It begins with first working in our sphere of influence, evangelizing and serving in the communities Christ has placed us in. However, it also recognizes the value of Christian engagement in politics more broadly. On a personal level, Hebraic leadership means taking care of what the Lord has currently placed in my life and local community, and eventually, through prayer, discerning next steps.
