Hi Alice. While I do agree with the complexity of the issue and importance of consulting with knowledgeable voices, I also believe we are able to speak to the issue and stand firm on our bias, as Dr. Nicholson has encouraged. Based on the last lesson, I believe being vocal in our support of Israel is also supportive of Palestinian well-being and overall peace in the region. This is due to the fact that the goal is for both peoples to have legitimate homes, and this begins with legitimizing and supporting Israel’s right to the land rather than removing it.
