I really like and appreciate all of your points. When improving relationships, it IS about the people, not the tradition or the “package” that relationship might come in. Humility also goes such a long way when coming up next to something that is not your tradition. I loathe the attitude I have gotten from people of different faiths that behave in the “You do it MY way,” kind of way. I do appreciate you pointing out that sometimes we will feel that practices different from our own might feel or look “strange.” We are guests in that person’s faith group, and need to maintain respect.
