I remember when I was in a comparative politics class that it was said we “compare to control factors” if we can take a look at someone else’s faith and juxtapose it with our own we can make comparisons about our faith or research individuals within our faith that talk about specific subjects. For example in the case of Islam and Judaism vs. Christianity we can look at what Church experts talk about when we talk about the Trinty. And if we can better lean about the trinity, not only will we better understand God, but we can better explain the ideas to others.
