I like your thoughts. It made me think about praying through scripture, too. Psalms is a good book to pray through, as they are prayers by David to God. Studying the Bible in a group is also a great motivator to promote an individual’s biblical literacy, but in a group setting. I do like the idea of breaking bread together, too. There is nothing better than both preparing a meal in service to others, but also partaking of it together.
