I agree with you – striking a balance is prudent when engaging with people of other faiths. Being preachy is the last way I would want to come across. I heard a sermon recently that discussed how Jesus’s name in Aramaic (or rather, the word YHWH) sounds like “breath” or breathing in general. It relates to how Jesus is the breath of life, and how we all have Him inside us as we all breathe. I tested it by saying YHWH a few times, listening to how it sounds, and it checks out!
