Patrick, I too was tremendously blessed with parents who truly cared about placing the Word of God first in my instruction. It was always impressed on me that everything I was heard should be examined against scripture. Often I think I take for granted how blessed I am to have had a heritage of faith that always prioritized my relationship with the Lord.
I similarly agree that these courses have been a really helpful way to deepen my understanding of the Faith and to draw connections about teachings that I had maybe heard, but not fully appreciated.
