Even before this class, but definitely in part, because of the influence of the Philos Project I reached out to my local Chabad Rabbi. Since then I have been to a few Shabbat’s and dinner, a Bat Mitzvah, and have helped briefly in the construction of a new synagogue. I also have been working to help support another Chabad community who has experienced loss during the Palisades fires in early 2025.
The whole experience has been wonderful. I have learned so much from my Jewish brethren and I consider the good Rabbi and his family friends. I do not believe the Rebbe was a messiah as some in Chabad do, but I do believe he was a good man who loved America, loved Israel, hated communism, supported traditional family values, and are kinder to gentiles than several other Hassidic dynasties, and the people of Chabad practice what their Rebbe preached.
The people of Chabad are a kind and generous people and I love them dearly as well as the Jewish people as a whole. The Philos Project and classes such as this has only made it possible so I can enhance my relationship with this covenantal people, who God recognizes. And I choose to bless them wholeheartedly and gladly.
Hail Jesus and Hail Mary.
