Hi Catherine! I definitely agree with you, it can be very overwhelming to look at all these tensions, conflicts, and underlying influences that create a tangled mess in the Near East. I think perhaps part of the solution is for more people to understand these tensions and dynamics. Especially with the Israel-Hamas war that’s happening, there is a lot of anger from people in the West and in America, but education on these tensions, beliefs, and actual history might help there be more open discussion, at least, on ways that can help start paths toward peace.
