YES! I am simply impressed by Charles Malik. It was incredible to meet someone who managed to combine theology with international politics in several of his writings. Furthermore, the prayer of thanksgiving for the cross definitely moved me greatly. It is so good to know that there were people who loved Jesus even in government positions. Besides, learning about Lebanon’s Golden Age was essential to understand why the Lebanese emigrated so massively in the following years (I am Brazilian and there are 10 million Lebanese in Brazil).
