Hi Patrick, thanks for sharing! I highly relate to your own experience, as most of my friends are non-Christians but who practice other faith. There was a time when I thought I had to hide my faith before I realized they liked hanging out with the version of me that exists after I gave my life to Christ—the Jesus in me makes them comfortable with being vulnerable. I don’t know if you feel the same way, but I’ve noticed that being a Christian leader oftentimes means being a servant. (I used to think leaders had to be loud and charismatic for others to “want to follow” them.) It’s an unconventional but I guess Biblical way of viewing leadership.
