I plan to exhibit Hebraic leadership both on campus and in my neighborhood. First and foremost, I plan to attend and organize workshops for the youth in my church (predominantly Asian American, and so am I) to help/teach them how to boldly live out their faith, instead of treating Christianity as a clique or a label plastered on those who simply go to church on Sundays. I understand not everyone likes to talk about or get involved with politics, but living out the Christian faith includes having a radical transformation of worldview and an understanding of history that sets those who follow the Bible apart from the world. So far, I am the only young adult interested in global events at my church, and I want to change that by starting out with talking to other about the Hebraic map. As a student leader in Christian fellowships at school, I’m also working on several interfaith initiatives on campus, as an act of diplomacy and to better educate the student body on the history of the Middle East. Since late 2023, my college has unfortunately failed to protect Jewish students on campus against anti-Semitic actions by faculty and their peers; I plan to be a light.
