I will exhibit Hebraic leadership by first furthering my understanding of the Bible and of God. This will allow me to be more like Christ, and thus allow me to be a better leader, servant, citizen, and neighbor. Examples in the Bible of how to be a good leader are numerous, but two key ideas stuck with me the most throughout this Course. First, taking responsibility where I am. I am not in a “high” position of authority at the moment, but I can still have responsibility over my life and the things that God has blessed me with. Additionally, having a balanced view of when to use words and when to use actions is a skill that many people in leadership do not have, but is one that is very important. While at work, I must learn to understand when is a good time to say something (and the correct manner to say it) and when it is a good time to not say anything but instead lead through actions. As the old saying goes, “Actions speak louder than words” and the greatest action I can take to lead others in a Hebraic way is by leading as the Bible teaches.
