Hi Mery, It is surprising about the modernist Jews and how they do not recognize a literal Messiah. The answer I come to is that most of them are not taking God at His Word literally and changing it to an age to come. I like what you said in addressing the issue of sin because that is something as Christians we are first confronted with before getting saved. And then as you said we have to deal with sin everyday- it is a battle, but thank God He has given us victory over sin- I still have to be walking in the Spirit and putting on the whole armor of God each day. Our Jewish friends are deceived if they think that they are keeping the Law- for they break it everyday, in the heart, if not by action. There are non-Jews who convert, I have met some of them in my community. Judaism is appealing and very attractive in many ways. The Jewish community are very “works” oriented and they help lots of people. They can be very loving, giving and gracious people. Many are attracted to it and often it is some who were not schooled in a Bible believing Church. On the other hand, some in the Messianic Movement have converted to Judaism too, because it is very appealing and has so many Biblical roots. Thanks so much for your response!
