Reply To: Have you ever been told that supporting Israel prevents you from supporting Palestinians? After taking this course, how would you go about responding to false accusations like this?

Supporting Israel does not mean one does not care about the Palestinians. Historically, there are no such people called the Palestinians. The Palestinians are made up of various Arab countries who immigrated to Israel at some point in the earlier 20th century. Most willfully left in 1948 to join 5 other Arab countries to destroy Israel. They lost! Unfortunately, none of the Arab countries would take them as refugees. So it is a sad story how they were forsaken by their own. That is not Israel’s fault. Most of the world has give billons of dollars to them to establish themselves as a people, but bad leadership has made their lives ruined. If they had leadership who would recognize Israel and stop teaching hate, focus on loving their children and building society, all would go well.
Evangelical Christians do favor supporting Israel, not because of every decision they have made, but because of Biblical origins, their covenant with God, which led to Jesus the Messiah coming to be our savior. He is the Savior of the Palestinians too if they would turn to Him by faith.
