Reply To: In the first lecture, Dr. McDermott teaches that the Bible is one story, and that God upholds his covenant with the Jewish people to this very day. Was this what you were taught growing up? If not, how will this insight change the way you read the bible going forward?

In examining my life to date, I have found many flavors of replacement theology in those I have encountered throughout my walk. I appreciate that you share that God established Israel to be a blessing to this world. Our lack of unity and vision in this theology gives way to lack empathy, lack understanding, and distance ourself from the calling of the Lord on our hearts to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the Lord’s provision over His covenant. people.
