Thanks Sarah for that thoughtful response. I did not realize the importance of youth in a country. Youth really is what pushes a nation forward and keeps the population growing. This reminds me of the situation in Albania, which after war and communism, has a weaker economy and most people emigrate. On your second point, it is disheartening that people assume all of Lebanon supports Hezbollah. This just highlights how complex the crisis in Lebanon is. This is a beautiful country that has so much potential to be a strong, safe, powerful nation. I hope for a pluralistic Lebanon and a brighter future.
