It is important for Christians to know of their history, even if it is sad and difficult. Knowing what has happened in the past allows for Christians to prevent history from repeating itself, learn the lessons from the past, and be able to make decision today that would be a blessing.

In knowing our history, we can make decisions today through our words and our actions being peacemakers instead of dividers or exhibiting hatred.

The call for being a peacemaker is also someone who exhibits love, kindness and understanding for the Jews and the Palestinians.

I have felt moved with compassion to spread the word and stop the cycle of antisemitism (should I find it in people I know.). Learning the history of how Christians contributed to antisemitism really pulls at my heart. I wish to help put and end to the hatred.

Let us be a blessing instead of the opposite. Let us learn the lessons from the past so that we can make better decisions today, which in turn, will help shape a better future.
