I fully agree with all the comments here. I believe that multi-sensory worship helps to clear your mind of distractions and focus on the Lord. We live in such a stimulating culture. Technology makes it impossible for us to zone in, even during a church service. When I attended a Coptic service, I felt myself be more calm. It was very peaceful. The smell and sight helped me keep my head focused on God and his word.
