Thank you Elizabeth, it is very true that one cannot learn unless one is exposed. We need to first have proximity to people if we are ever going to have relationships with them. People have a tenancy to group together with people who are the same as them. It is often more comfortable to stay with what you know but it is not always best. Coming face to face with something you are not used to can actually cause you to become more grounded and secure in what you believe as you are forced to ask questions you otherwise could avoid.
