Reply To: Analyze one of the supplementary Bible passages in light of the course content. Do you see evidence of the Hebraic map? Did anything about the passage surprise you? Was there any part of the passage that stuck out to you in particular?

I appreciate your post reflecting on the book of James.

I once heard a quote (I know it’s not in scripture, but it is still a good one) that says that: Responsibility is the ability to respond. This reminds me a lot of what you are saying, that responsibility is the response to the formation of the personality by the reception of wisdom.

Certainly, if we do not have wisdom, let us ask God for it, like what Solomon did, and what it says in James Chapter 1.
