Reply To: Have you ever been told that supporting Israel prevents you from supporting Palestinians? After taking this course, how would you go about responding to false accusations like this?

Supporting Israel and Palestine do not have to be exclusive. I support Israel’s right to exist as a nation and I also support Palestine’s right to exist as a separate nation (however that is to happen is a difficult issue to try and solve). However, I do not support organizations or countries that have the objective to destroy Israel.
Both Israelis and Palestinians have been exiled to live on the same land more than once. They have been forced to live in the same region which is between the Mediterranean Sea to the West, the Jordan River to the East, Lebanon to the North, and Egypt to the South. There have been many attempts to appease the growing conflicts between the two nations that share the same land and it has not worked.
The rights of both Israeli and Palestinian people have been overshadowed by the political tensions between the two where if you believe that Israel can exist then Palestinians have to be gone and vice versa.
