I like and agree with your last sentence. It reminds me of “blessed are the peacemakers…” I have often mentally distanced myself from people who donated to the Palestinians cause. Reading these comments make me rethink that is it often the people on the ground who are suffering from the mistakes or bad judgements of the leaders.
