I agree with your points. The situation is larger than it seems. There is a whole history of timelines and peoples behind the simple headline. It’s good to be aware of these issues and not be simplistic in dismissing the situation as two peoples arguing over a piece of dirt that has the deepest rift on earth (pun intended) running from north to south.
