Reply To: Analyze one of the supplementary Bible passages in light of the course content. Do you see evidence of the Hebraic map? Did anything about the passage surprise you? Was there any part of the passage that stuck out to you in particular?

Thank you for your sharing. I agree with what you shared and what the lecturer said about the physical coming of the Kingdom. I don’t hear much about the preaching of the coming of the Kingdom because I think it is not a popular topic to preach. But much of what the references mentioned in the lecture make sense (Matthew 6:33, Isaiah, Jeremiah). Allegories are sometimes assigned to the Kingdom prophecies but I think it may be too far-fetched to allegorize ALL of them. The most obvious sign that it will be a physical coming is in my humble opinion -the unexpected establishment of the state of Israel in 1948. I don’t know enough of the background but from what I gathered -the language, gathering of the peoples from all over Europe and the goodwill of the then-powers in WW1 and WWII are point to the invisible workings of The Lord God to fulfil His promise to Jacob and his descendants.
