Hey Alie! I agree with most of what you said but had a follow-up question. I saw someone else make a post stating that it is probably for the best that Assad remains in power. Their main underlying reason is that even though he is corrupt, he offers stability. I was wondering who or which group you thought would be a better fit to run the country if not Assad. I’m not saying I agree with what he’s done or his politics, but do you think stability as a tradeoff for corruption is necessary for the rebuilding of Syria? Or is there another way to do so?
