Hi Kendal! Yes I agree, it’s so important to remember the reasoning for the need of the Jewish State in the first place. It was because of the discriminatory treatment and genocide that Christians in Europe imposed on the Jews that the desire for a homeland came about. As Christians, there is an obligation to stand with the Jewish people because of this. It is also because as Christians we recognize that God made an eternal covenant with them too.
