Bernard, thank you for your comments! I appreciate you highlighting God reaching the nations through Israel, as it reminds me that the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew includes non-Israelite women. That image of the Olive Tree that we are grafted on to also comes to mind; how wonderful indeed it is that the Lord created plants with this ability, so that by its symbolic power, we too may come to understand how God has woven our lives together as His people.
