Thanks Matheus, these are great pointers to create connections. I agree that investment (of time) is necessary to grow the roots of connection.
Dr. Stephen Cochrane’s practical advice to ask curious questions comes to mind with what you’re suggesting here about being open to understanding other’s and ditch the agenda (but not the heart) to convert people.
The mindset with which we approach is key – being curious and non-judgmental. Setting myself, my beliefs aside and putting on listening ears to simply understand someone’s faith and perspective without trying to fix anyone.
