For one, it could help us see the narrative arc of the Scriptures and really begin to see more of God’s hand within redemptive history over time. Prayer and Fasting is huge as well, as you mentioned, as a part of our spiritual formation. I also like your point about the power of reading the Scriptures in community. This is powerful in helping us dig deeper, see things we haven’t seen and make sure that we are aligning with what the Scriptures are actually saying, applied to our context.
