Reply To: Why is it important for Christians to keep the sad history of Christian antisemitism in mind when responding to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the present?

Alie, yes, this impacted me too! I’ve been becoming more aware of the history of Christian anti-semitism. I used to be ignorant of it. But this lecture series helped point out how much of a drive force hatred from the “Christian world” was in propelling the modern Zionist movement, not hatred from the Muslim world. I had no idea. The Zionist movement emerged from the Christian world in response to this, not from the Muslim world. I appreciate how this gives frame to Christian involvement in creating the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
