Agreed Jonathan. Hamas uses its own people as human shields and then blames Israel for it. Israel tried to send sell phone messages, leaflet drops, and precision bombings to reduce collateral damage. Obviously war is always evil in that it reflects human imperfection, and the only reason one should go into war is to secure peace and get out of war as quickly as possible. It is entirely reasonable for Israel to retaliate and end Hamas, so they can never attack Israel again and set an example for other rogue regimes what happens if you attack Israel.
