Reply To: In the first lecture, Dr. McDermott teaches that the Bible is one story, and that God upholds his covenant with the Jewish people to this very day. Was this what you were taught growing up? If not, how will this insight change the way you read the bible going forward?

Hi James! Thank you so much for sharing your testimony! It is so inspiring to hear about someone rejecting the replacement theology they had been brought up in in order to seek the truth about God’s chosen people—that takes so much bravery. In addition, thank you for recommending “Post-Messianic Judaism” and “Nostre Aetate: Searching Her Own Mystery” by Rabbi Mark Kinzer! This course has blessed me with a palpable thirst to learn more about pro-Israel apologetics, and I will use any Scripturally solid resources I can find.
