Sarah MerlyHi Emily!! It’s so nice to see you on here! I had the same experience in church growing up. When I learned about God’s covenants with Abraham, Moses, and David, the teachers always emphasized its relevance to Gentiles and how each covenant foreshadowed the coming of Christ breaking down barriers. While there’s nothing wrong with that, I hardly heard anything about how it applies to Jews in the present and why we have a duty to love them.
