I agree; the Bible calls us to prepare and demonstrate “a higher standard of Leadership.” Personally, this convicts me to not be so afraid of news, politics, conflict, etc., but to trust that the Holy Spirit will help discern what’s true and right.

I’m glad you pointed out our limitations. It is difficult for most Christians to put themselves out there and share the gospel. When we do, we can put a lot of pressure on ourselves to change someone’s opinion. We forget to listen to what we could learn from and about them and more painfully, let our pride get in the way of what God could do through us. There’s a balance to “seek our duty,” yet remember that someone’s acceptance of salvation is not up to us!
