Reply To: After taking this course, in your own words, please define Hebraic leadership and what it means to you.

The Hebraic Leadership is divinely given by God, through His word. God’s word shows us the vision of the linear process of history and how those who have gone before us (through their trials and triumphs) seek the path towards the Kingdom of God. He lives with us and helps us navigate through this broken world, calling us to a higher standard of Leadership. With this flip in mindset from the world’s view of leadership, we are able to understand the unique power and ability to shape history, share with our fellow neighbors, all for God’s glory.

One example of this seeking humility when in power. the world’s conventional wisdom associates leadership with self-assurance, single-minded determination, bravado, and certainty. On the other hand, with great irony, the Hebraic viewpoint offer a dramatically different way, one which identifies humility as the essential attribute of effective leaders. Humility is the the recognition of one’s limitations regardless of position and is seen as a natural consequence of the Hebraic worldview that only God has absolute authority, and that human leaders, however powerful, can never be above God’s law. We must seek His way and our duty that comes with it.
