Reply To: After completing this course, do you agree with the statement, “Hebraic Thought is the greatest intellectual tradition in the history of humanity.” Why or why not?

Indeed so. Sometimes people talk about Christianity or faith as a membership or status. Jesus and His followers talked about faith as a path. He talked about this Kingdom as lying at the end of a straight and narrow way. Therefore His disciples called Christianity “The Way.”

The Hebraic thought does not see faith as a state of being, but faith as a process of becoming. A Christian leader is someone who goes ahead of others, braves danger and confusion and draws his/her courage from the word of God to guide others through conflict in pursuit of a shared mission.

We must lead people to a destination in space and time—to a city to come, whose builder and maker is God.
