Reply To: What is one tangible way that you plan to exhibit Hebraic leadership in your own neighborhood after taking this course?

I am so grateful I found Philos Project by listening to the Israel/Palestine podcast Rob did with Lila Rose after one of the worst massacres since the Holocaust on 10/7. I felt empathetic distress, wishing I could take a flight, join any volunteer program to help in Israel. I was reminded through this course in particular that leadership starts at home, and to use every resource available to be a change in the tangible and spiritual sense. Because I can’t afford at this moment to be a physical part of joining Israel and helping in person, I reached out to both my Jewish friends and family, prayed for and with others, reached out to Texas senators and congress to push for support of the state of Israel, and more. Luckily, my church is also an ally of Israel and being a part of their sermon helped me feel even more connected to the tangible feeling of making a difference.
