Jessica I like the reminder that leadership starts at home. As we experienced yet another horrible and depressing massacre against Israel on 10/7, my heart leaped and wished I could instantly book a flight to Israel and do what I can to help my family and friends experiencing this suffering. I had to take a step back and am grateful that through this course I was reminded to take the steps that I can and still feel like I am making a difference for example reaching out to my Jewish friends and family in the US and Israel, reaching out to senators in my state pushing for support for the state of Israel, and more.
